Exploring Fort Caswell: Music and Folklore By the Sea

Join nationally recognized folk musician Anne Lough and historian/author Miller Pope as they take us on a fascinating and uniquely American journey through time. Discover the rich tapestry of history and folklore that shaped what we know today as American Folk Music and the Golden Age of Piracy. Afternoon and evening adventures include an optional boat trip to Battery Island and Bonnets Creek, pirate grounds from days gone by, as well as a ghost walk through historic Southport and an old-fashioned oyster roast.

Cost per participant:

$361/adult single-occupancy; $305/adult double-occupancy; $163/child ages 6+; and

$69/child ages 2 - 5. Children fees are per paid adult.

Costs include 4 nights lodging, 11 meals and program fees. Commuter rates available.

Harbor Tour with Captain Felton $20/adult and children ages 12+; $10/child under 12
