Planning Your Retreat
We are committed to helping you have a successful retreat or
conference. We invite churches and associations to plan their own
retreats for staff, deacons, seniors or other adult groups, as well
as for youth, children or families. We also invite civic groups,
schools and other organizations to plan their own meetings, retreats
and educational trips. Reservations may be made as much as a year in
advance. Simply decide whether your group wants to use our food
services or prepare your own food, determine the approximate group
size, choose a date and contact our reservations office. We can help
you plan your accommodations, arrange for meeting space, schedule
any additional recreation and guide you to finding local attractions
to visit.
Making Reservations--Winter, Spring and Fall
The North Carolina Baptist Assembly accepts reservations for
non-summer retreats anytime but never more than one year in advance
of the date your reservations will begin. Requests may be made in
writing or by telephone. To reserve a space, the Assembly must
receive a non-refundable deposit of 10%. To confirm a reservation,
the Assembly must receive a deposit of 50% of the total bill at
least 60 days prior to scheduled event. Deposits are due by the date
specified on the confirmation form.
Any cancellations or changes must be made at least 30 days before
your group is scheduled to arrive. After this date all deposits will
be forfeited. Groups requesting reservations less than 30 days
before the expected retreat must pay their deposit in full
immediately. No refund will be given if these retreats are canceled.
All credits are computed at check-in and will be mailed within 30
days following the retreat or cancellation date. Partial refund of
deposit for meals will be made if written notification is received
one week prior to arrival date. No changes by telephone are
accepted.
