What’s Happening: Youth Weeks Summer Camps include personal quiet times, small group studies, recreation, worship, large group celebrations and church group devotions. These weeks are for rising seventh through twelfth graders.  All participants will receive a theme t-shirt upon arrival at Caswell, and everyone will be asked to wear their t-shirts for Tuesday night worship, providing a visual image of unity.

The theme for 2012 will be: “Ethics: Choosing the right thing to do even when no one is around.” For most youth and adults, the week is a “mountain top experience” which challenges and strengthens them in their walk of faith. At Summer Youth Weeks Camp 2011, we saw over 6,700 decisions made:  506 salvations, 4,000+ rededications, 2,000+ recommitments to change something in their lives when they return home to walk closer to God, and 218 calls to ministry.

Each church is asked to provide at least one small group teacher and assistant teacher. Small group study materials are provided to the teachers well in advance, complete with step-by-step instructions.

A program fee of $53.00 will be charged for all youth and adults attending any youth week at Caswell.  This helps cover the cost of each week’s speakers, praise and worship teams, t-shirt and materials. In order for us to adequately plan for the correct number of participants attending this summer, we are asking that this non-refundable program fee of $53.00 per person be included with the Caswell deposit by April 1, 2012.

Deep Impact Summer Missions Camp

August 5-11, 2012

Deep Impact camp will combine the worship experience of summer youth camp with the “hands-on” mission’s experience of a mission trip. Each participant will choose a mission project that they will be involved in throughout the week. A wide selection of mission projects will be available from which to choose. This camp is for adults and youth only (rising 7th- 12th graders). No childcare will be available for this camp. All adults and youth will be expected to participate in a mission project. These mission projects will be off campus and each church must provide drivers and transportation to and from the projects daily. All lodging is in the barracks and meals in the dining hall. Rush of Fools will be leading the worship each evening.

A program fee of $50.00 per person will be charged for all youth and adults attending Deep Impact Summer Missions Camp at Caswell. In order for us to adequately plan for the correct number of participants attending this summer, we ask that this non-refundable program fee be included with the Caswell deposit by April 1st.
